Gerald Breau

Gerald Breau of Memramcook passed away at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Thursday March 9, 2017 at the age of 91.

Born on March 8, 1926 in Memramcook Est. He was the son of the late Maurice Breau and the late Azele LeBlanc.

He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator and was a devoted father to his family, and he loved his camp and his garden.

He is survived by his wife Jeannine (Cormier) Breau, four daughters; Linda (Leonard) Richard of Gayton, Sylvia Breau of Gayton, Debbie (Jean-Guy) Goguen of Cap-Pelé, and Brenda (Tim Hicks) Breau of Salisbury; one son Guy (Helene) Breau of Pré-d’en-Haut; 2 grandchildren; Mireille and Rebecca, 2 great-grandchildren; Jeremie and Lucas and by several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by four sisters; Anna, Hectorine, Doris and Lilliane (Lily), three brothers; Leo, Hector, and Leonce.

Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Sunday March 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral service will be held at Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Monday March 13 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
