Henri LeBlanc

It is with great sadness, the family of Henri (à Claudia) LeBlanc 1946-2017 of Foyer St. Thomas in Memramcook and former lifelong resident of Cormier’s Cove passed away at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont August 15, 2017 at the age of 70, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  Henri was never married and took care of his mother until his health problems prevented him to do so. A thoughtful and gentleman, he was always willing to help anyone in need or volunteer in his community.  He took an early retirement from Lockhart Beaver Lumber in the summer of 1995 and was free to spend more time with family and friends. Henri is survived by his mother who recently celebrated her 103 birthday. Claudia at the Dr. Camille Nursing home in Memramcook, two brothers, Camille (Rose Anna) of Little River and Alderic (Helena) of Cormier’s Cove, sister-in-law Stella of St-Joseph and by 11 nephews and nieces and 13 great nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his father Alderic (1949), two brothers, Guy (2004) and Leonce (2006). 
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Sunday August 20, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only.  Funeral service will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Monday August 21, at 10:00 am. A special thank you to Henri’s (Angels of Mercy) as he would call them, the nurses of the Georges Dumont Hospital.    Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
