Laurie Bourque

Laurie Bourque, 94, of Foyer Saint-Thomas in Memramcook, passed away peacefully at his residence Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Tilmon and the late Alida (Gagnon) Bourque. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 68 years, Marie (Gaudet) Bourque, three daughters, Gloria (Normand) Dupuis, Jocelyne (Charles) Gaudet, both of Memramcook and Bernadette (Michel) Gaudet of Dieppe, and by four sons, Michel, Louis (Annette), Conrad (Rose) all of Memramcook, and Roger (Lucie) of Dieppe; one sister Annette Blanchette, one brother Joseph and three sisters-in-law, Dorice, Rita and Sr. Bernadette.  He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, Joline, Suzanne, Réjean, Luc, Marcel, Daniel, Marc, Rémi, Reno, Simon and Janika and 7 great grandchildren, Dylan, Erin, Mali, Owen, Chloe, Capri and Sophie.  Other than his parents, he was predeceased by four sisters, Eulalie, Imelda, Germaine, Priscillia, three brothers, Thaddée, Gérard, Camille, and one grandson, André  Dupuis.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Friday January 5 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church, St-Joseph on Saturday January 6 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held in the Saint Thomas de Memramcook parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Fondation Mélissa et ses ami.e.s.inc. or  Handi-Bus would be appreciated. Arrangements are in care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. www.dupuisfuneralhome.ca
