Aurore LeBlanc

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of our mother Aurore LeBlanc on Thursday August 10, 2017 at CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont at the age of 86 after a short illness. Born in Memramcook East, she was the daughter of the late Israël and Sophie (Richard) Gould. Besides raising her children, she worked at the University of St-Joseph, Nap’s Lunch, Woolworth’s, babysitting and the LeBlanc Restaurant until her retirement. She had volunteered at the Golden Age Club of Memramcook. She will be sadly missed by her children, Bernard (Edithe), Janice (Bill) Lowther, Joanne LeBlanc, Donald (Janice) and Phyllis (Jean) Boudreau, her grandchildren, Steven, Julie (Kevin), Conrad (Steph), Mario (Melanie), Mathieu (Jessica), Patrick and Chantal (Maxime), her great grandchildren, Tamara (Mitchell), Brandon (Jennifer), Brianna (Samson), Taylor, Brady and one yet to be born, her great great grandchildren, Sophie, Eli and one yet to be born,  her sisters, Jeannine LeBlanc and Freda (Frank) Cormier and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her, sister, Amelia and eight brothers, Arthur, Hector, Amedee, Normand, Richard, Gerald, Ulysse and Roger.

Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Monday August 14, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only.  Funeral mass will be held at Saint-Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church, St-Joseph on Tuesday August 15 at 12:00 pm.  Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont Foundation for the palliative care unit, Coeur Chaud/Warm Hearts or charity of the donor’s choice.
