Claudia LeBlanc

Claudia LeBlanc of Foyer St-Thomas (formerly of Cormier’s Cove) passed away on Saturday March 30, 2019 at her residence at the age of 104. Born on July 28, 1914 in Cormier’s Village, she was the daughter of the late Tilmon Robichaud and Elise (Cormier) Robichaud. Claudia operated “Magazin LeBlanc” (Cormier’s Cove) from 1942-1997 while raising five boys. In her spare time, she loved making quilts for her children, grand-children and newborns of the parish. She will be sadly missed by two sons, Camille (Rose-Anna) LeBlanc of Parkingdale and Aldéric (Héléna) LeBlanc of Cormier’s Cove, one sister, Alice Connely of Newfoundland, eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, two daughters-in-law, Stella and Bertile, two sisters- in- law, Simone and Edmée and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Aldéric (1949), three sons, Guy (2004), Léonce (2006) and Henri (2017), one sister Hermine, ten brothers, Benoît, Eloi, Olivier, Camille, Joseph, Hervé, Mélas, Clorice, Ola and Raymond.  Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Tuesday April 2 from 2 to 4 pm, followed by a service at the funeral home at 4:00 pm. Interment will be held in the Saint-Thomas de Memramcook parish cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. www.dupuisfuneralhome.ca
