Elmire LeBlanc

Elmire LeBlanc of Foyer St-Thomas (formerly of Pré-d’en-Haut) passed away on Friday February 22, 2019 at the Foyer St-Thomas Memramcook at the age of 99. Born in Gautreau Village on January 19, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Anastase and Albina (Gautreau) Gautreau. She was a Member of the Golden Age Club of Pré-d’en-Haut. She will be sadly missed by two daughters, Aline (Late Oscar) LeBlanc of Pré-d’en-Haut, Diane (Alfred) LeBlanc of Dieppe, two sons, Victor (Anita) LeBlanc of Belliveau Village, Donald (Ida) LeBlanc of Pré-d'en-Haut, 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, two sisters, Anita (Late George) Auffrey of Dieppe, Eveline (Late Romeo) Leger of St-Joseph, one brother, Normand (Late Hectorine) Gautreau of Dieppe, several nieces and nephews, and three sisters-in-law, Irene, Lauré, and Dorina. She was predeceased by her husband Zoël (1984), one son, Clarence, one sister, Anna, and by five brothers, Laurie, Alban, Alcide, Denis and Uldege. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Monday February 25 from 1 to 3:45 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Notre- Dame de-l’Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d’en-Haut on Monday February 25 at 4:30 pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
