Eugène Belliveau

Eugène Belliveau of Memramcook passed away at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont on Sunday July 9, 2017 at the age of 77 surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy illness. Born in College Bridge on February 13, 1940, he was the son of the late Aimé and Norma (LeBlanc) Belliveau. He was the owner and operator of Eugène Belliveau Construction Ltd where he enjoyed spending time with his sons at his garage as well as picking blueberries. He was a member of the Golden Age Club of Memramcook and was a former volunteer fire fighter for the Memramcook Fire Department. He will be sadly missed by his two sons, Paul and René (Caroline Spencer) of College Bridge, his special friend, Thérèse Léger his brothers and sisters, Oswald (Edwina), Alice (late Bernard) LeBlanc, Allain, Alonzo (Denise), Gérald (Roselys), Fernand, Doris (Sam) LeBlanc and Majella, his sister-in-law, Angeline Belliveau, two step-children, Serge (Monique) Léger and Sylvie (Jason) Greene, four step-grandchildren, Annick (Pat), Danika, Cedric and Cassandra and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Jeanne (1995), one sister Althéa and one brother Arthur. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Thursday July 13 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church, St-Joseph on Friday July 14, 2017 at 11:00 am.  Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
