Jeannette Poirier Obituary

Jeannette Poirier of Moncton (formerly of St-Joseph, Memramcook) passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday November 7, 2018 at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont at the age of 81. Born in Pré-d’en-Haut on April 24, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Aurella (Boudreau) Gautreau. She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Charline (Marc) Gingras and Lise (Norbert) Boudreau of Moncton, two sons, Gilles Poirier of Cocagne and Roland (Denise) Poirier of Dieppe, one granddaughter, Danika, one sister, Melina (Ludger) LeBlanc of Little Dover Rd and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Norbert (2000), one daughter, Maryse (1985), five brothers, Allain, Antoine, Henri, Gerald and Gillie. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Monday November 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church, St-Joseph on Tuesday November 13 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
