Mr. Léopold Cormier died at the CHU Dr. Georges –L.-Dumont Hospital on March 5th, 2019 in Moncton, N.B. at the age of 91.
Léopold was born on January 28th, 1928 in Pré-d’en-Haut, N.B. to Wilfred (Willie) Cormier and Jeanne LeBlanc. He worked 30 years for CN. He is survived by his wife Marie (Bourgeois) and his children’s Paulette (Eugene Dupuis), Francine, Victor (Edith LeBlanc), Ginette and Joël; three grandchildren: Joline (Brad Chase), Jacques, and Jessica (Jared Smith). He was predeceased by his brothers Amédé, Mélas, Alyre, Dominique, Yvon, Laurie and his sisters Amanda, Dorilla, Marie-Louise, and Jeannita.
He will be remembered by his family for his generosity and his big smile when we would ask “who wants to play cards?”
A funeral talk is scheduled for 4:00 pm Sunday, March 10th, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 668 Champlain Street, Dieppe, N.B.
