Maria Gautreau

Maria Gautreau of Pré-d’en-Haut, passed away on Saturday July 13, 2019 at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont at the age of 78. Born on July 29, 1940 in Pré-d’en-Haut, she was the daughter of the late Cyrile and Eveline (Auffrey) Gautreau. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Francis, three daughters, Joanne Gautreau (Carolle Hache), Lise Gautreau (Armand Leger), Claire (Paul) Melanson, one son, Roland, three sisters, Anita (late Gerard) Gautreau, Jeannine (Roger) Cormier, Gloria (Laurie) LeBlanc, four brothers, Donald (Denise Belliveau), Leonce (Lorraine), Normand (Alberte), Roger (Marielle), four grandchildren, Maxime, Alexie, Nicholas, and Maëlle, several in law’s and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant twin daughters, and by three sisters, Dorina, Eva and Celina. In keeping with Maria’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Interment will be held in the Notre-Dame de l’Annonciation parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the heart and stroke foundation would be appreciated by the family.
