Stella Cormier of Domaine de la Vallée, Memramcook (formerly of Pré-d’en-Haut) passed away at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont on May 30, 2018 at the age of 88. Born in Gautreau Village on June 30, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Eloi and Thilda (Gautreau) Gautreau. She was a huge fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Canadians, loved playing cards and was a member of the Golden Age Club of Pré-d’en-Haut. She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Charline (Euclide) Gaudet of St-Joseph, Yvette (Bernard) Leger of Pré-d’en-Haut and Nicole (Jay) Bourgeois of Dieppe, one son, Gilles (Jeannine) Cormier of Pré-d’en-Haut, five grandchildren, Mélanie (Chris) Polley, Mathieu (Mélanie) Cormier, Gino (Sara) Gaudet, Rémi (Stéphanie) Gaudet and Kevin (Mélanie) Leger, one great granddaughter, Erica Polley, one sister, Ella (Alcide) Robichaud of Dieppe, and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald A. Cormier (2016), three sister, Emerise, Albertina and Evangeline and by five brothers Albert, Aurèle, Arthur, Alyre and Clovis. Visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on June 3, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday June 4 at 11:00 am.
