Wilfred Y LeBlanc

Wilfred Y. LeBlanc of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe (formerly of Memramcook East) passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday December 29, 2018 at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont at the age of 84. Born in Memramcook East on December 21, 1934, he was the son of the late Yvet and Emma (Dupuis) LeBlanc. He worked at CN in the bridge maintenance department until his retirement and was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Memramcook East. He will be sadly missed by his wife Jeannette, five daughters, Rachelle (Lowell) LeBlanc of Memramcook Lake, Monique (Raymond Jr) LeBlanc of Old Shediac Rd, Sylvia (Ronald) LeBlanc of Grand Barachois, Odette (Guy) Richard of Memramcook East and Josée (Georges) Cormier of Dieppe, two sons, Maurice (Rachelle) LeBlanc of Haute Aboujagane and Bobby (Charline) LeBlanc of Grand Barachois, 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, seven sisters, Julia (Yvon) Saulnier of Shediac, Therese (Alphonse) LeBlanc of Saint John, Lina (Guy) Maillet of Memramcook, Lucina (late Dismas) Cormier of Memramcook East, Alice (Louis)  Belliveau of Grand Barachois, Helene (Leon) LeBlanc of Memramcook East and Janice ( Francis) Gautreau of Grand Barachois, four brothers, Louis-Philippe (late Lorraine) of Grand Barachois, Olivain LeBlanc of Montreal, Donald (Dorine) LeBlanc of McGinley and Clarence (Anna) LeBlanc of Memramcook East and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson Marc and one brother Victor. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Wednesday January 2 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East on Thursday January 3 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
