Adrien Gaudet

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Adrien Gaudet of Memramcook on Friday August 25, 2023 at the age of 76.  Born in Memramcook he was the son of the late Honore “Nore” and Delina “Lina” (Landry) Gaudet.

No stranger to hard work Adrien spent 22 years at Westinghouse Canada before opening A.G. Electric Motor Repair which he ran for 30 years.  Providing for his family gave him a great sense of pride. He loved his family with all his heart, he cherished his grandkids and was so proud of all of them.

He will be sadly missed by his three daughters Ginette (Ralph Atyeo) Cormier of Maquapit Lake, Francine (Michel) LeBlanc of Memramcook, Charline (Jason) Rayworth of Shediac, six grandchildren Vincent Cormier, Germain LeBlanc, Julien Cormier, Jeremy Rayworth, Claudie LeBlanc, Matthew Rayworth, two sisters Jeannita (Paulo) Savoie, Rosella (late Georgio) Gaudet, one brother Leophane (Suzanne) Gaudet and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 53 years Pauline Gaudet (2022), five brothers Lorenzo (late Lorraine), Valmont (late Simonne), Fernando “Fer” (Lucille), Dollard, Henri-Paul, nephews Mike, Bobby, Guy and niece Bernice.  A private service will be held at a later date.

Interment will be held in the St-Thomas de Memramcook Parish Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Cancer Society or Handi Bus of Memramcook.  Special thanks to Dupuis Funeral Home, Dr. Cedric Wybouw, the Extra-Mural nurses (especially Caroline), Dr. Gray, the staff at the oncology unit (4D) and to Father Emery Brien.
