Allen Leger

Allen Leger of Memramcook passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 3, 2022 at his residence at the age of 61. Born in Moncton on September 24, 1960, he was the son of the late Raymond and Sheila (Tower) Leger. He worked as a General Manager for Co-op and a Training Officer for Sobeys. Allen also enjoyed his life by doing the things he loved most, like playing golf and making memories with his loved ones. His life has served as a reminder that the greatest of experiences can be found in the least of expected times and places, if you allow it to. Life is a journey in which it is meant to be mended at the end of its road. Allen’s journey met its end in the same way he walked throughout his entire life, with hope, courage and grace. He will be sadly missed by his wife Diane, one daughter, Victoria (Dane) of Irishtown, two sons, Johnny (Karin) of Inukjuak, PQ and Steven of Moncton, two grandchildren, Katherine and True, two sisters, Diane (Skip) of Memramcook and Patricia of LaMontain, three brothers, Mike of B.C., Paul of Memramcook (late Doug) and Jean-Marc (Stephanie) of Toronto and by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Sunday January 9 from 1 to 5 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at the St-Thomas-de-Memramcook Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook on Monday January 10 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Canada Society in his honour or to the Handi-Bus fund.  Arrangements are in care of Dupuis Funeral home, Memramcook.
