It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Aurise Cormier on Monday June 29, 2020 at the Moncton City Hospital at the age of 79. Born on November 16, 1940 in Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eléanor (LeBlanc) Boudreau. She will be forever missed by the love of her life and devoted husband of 56 years, Alfred (Fred) Cormier, both residing in Dieppe. She will be remembered for her infectious smile and her keen interest in people. Aurise worked in the U.S.A. for many years and in Canada at Pitney Bowes and retired from Correction Canada. She is survived by three brothers, Jean Boudreau (Léona) of Calhoun, Léo Boudreau (Sherry) of Calgary and Charles Boudreau (Claudette) of Gayton, three sisters, Adèle Boudreau (late Ron) of Moncton, Gisèle LeBlanc (Dollard) and Huguette LeBlanc (Jean) of Dieppe and sister-in-law, Pauline Boudreau (late Conrad) of Calhoun. Aurise is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Conrad Boudreau and her sister Lorette LeBlanc (late William-Billy). Respecting social distancing, visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Friday July 3 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at the St-Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church on Saturday July 4 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. In Aurise’s memory, in lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA, Friends of the Moncton Hospital and Georges -L.-Dumont Oncology or memorial of choice would be appreciated.
