Donald LeBlanc of Foyer St-Thomas (formerly of Memramcook) passed away on June 24, 2021 at his residence at the age of 85. Born in Moncton on September 19, 1935, he was the son of the late Antoine and Alma (Goguen) LeBlanc. He was a technician for Radio Canada for 32 years, loved music and doing DJ. He was a righteous man with a gentle and loving character. He loved his whole family very much more than anything. He was a good and caring husband, daddy, grandpa. He was a sporty man, a good softball pitcher, bowler and more. He was very fond of nature and animals and adored his walks in the forest. He began his volunteer role in 1985 for sound system projects and installations in churches and for conferences, parties, etc. He was a volunteer firefighter for his community for 25 years With his talents, knowledge and expertise and his dedication to others, he won the affection and friendship of those around him.
He is survived by his wife Jeannine, two daughters, Pauline LeBlanc of Shediac and Francine (Claude) LeBlanc of Little Dover, two sons, Jean-Guy (Rebecca) LeBlanc of Moncton and Claude (Shelley) LeBlanc of Kentville, four granddaughters, Nadine, Stephanie, Nicole and Mélanie, one sister, Juliette (Yvon) Cormier of Moncton, two brothers, Bernard (Florence) LeBlanc of St-Joseph and Normand (Jacqueline) LeBlanc of Dieppe and by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Sunday June 27 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm only. There will be a private funeral mass held at a later date. Interment will be held in the St-Thomas de Memramcook parish cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Dupuis Funeral home, Memramcook.
