Edmée Belliveau formerly of Memramcook passed away at the Albert House Hospice, on March 2, 2023 at the age of 95. Born in Cocagne on July 10, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Léandre and Marie (Breau) Gaudet. She will be sadly missed by two daughters Anita (Emery) LeBlanc of Grand-Barachois, Julia (David) LeBlanc of Moncton, two sons Leo (Pauline) LeBlanc and Francis (Annette) LeBlanc of Dieppe, one brother Louis-Philippe (Charlotte) Gaudet of Dieppe, eleven grandchildren Angèle, Sylvie, Natalie, Richard, Karine, David, France, Julie, Simon, Lyne, Lisa and thirteen great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband Francis LeBlanc (1958) and her second husband Gérard Belliveau, four sisters Zita, Leona, Geraldine and Lorraine, eight brothers Eric, Emile, Albert, Yvon, Joseph-Camille, Lucien, Leopold and Aurele.
She was an avid card player and bowler.
The family would like to thank the staff of CHU Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont, Auberge du Soleil, Programme Extra-Mural (Unité Blanche Bourgeois), Albert House Hospice, and also Dr. Anik Savoie and Suzanne Richard (caregiver and special friend).
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, followed by funeral service at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the Albert House Hospice.
