Ella Auffrey

Ella Auffrey of Moncton (formerly of Pré-d’en-Haut) passed away on December 26, 2021 at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont at the age of 91. Born in Pré-d’en-Haut on October 6, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Hermance (Gaudet) Auffrey. She worked as an assistant manager at Zellers until her retirement. She will be sadly missed by her two sisters, Edna (late Lorenzo) Leger of Moncton and Marie (late Camille) Bourgeois of Belliveau Village, two sister-in-law, Annette Auffrey and Eva Auffrey and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five sisters, Aline, Alva, Germaine, Flora and Anita (infant) and five brothers, Francis, Walter, Alban, Freddie and Henri (infant). Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Thursday December 30 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de l’Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d’en-Haut on Thursday December 30 at 4:00 pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
