Emile Cormier

Emile Cormier of St-Joseph passed away on Saturday December 28, 2019 at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont at the age of 79. Born on March 31, 1940 in La Hêtriere, he was the son of the late Ovila and Lorette (Leger) Cormier. He worked at the Glass Factory in Scoudouc until his retirement where he was known as Mon oncle Emile. He was a member of the Memramcook Golden Age Club of Memramcook and Knights of Columbus of Lourdes. He lived for many years and was loved by the Sifroi and Corinne Family. He will be sadly missed by his wife Violette, one sister, Germaine (late Yvon) Cormier of Gayton’s, three brothers, Yvon (Aline) Cormier of Memramcook Lake, Neri (Carol) Cormier of Old Shediac Rd and Valerie (late Sylvia) Cormier of St-Joseph and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his infant daughter Marie, six sisters, Corinne, Doris, Huberte, Loretta, Ella and Anita and one brother, Laurie. Visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Friday January 3 from 2 to 4 pm followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 4:00 pm. Interment will be held in the Notre Dame de Lourdes parish cemetery.
