Francis Gautreau Obituary

Francis Gautreau of Foyer St-Thomas, Memramcook (formerly of Pré-d’en-Haut) passed away at his residence on Monday April 17, 2023 at the age of 90. Born in Gautreau Village on July 14 1932, he was the son of the late Edouard and Rosanne (LeBlanc) Gautreau. He worked as a sign installer until his retirement. He will be sadly missed by three daughters, Joanne (Carolle Haché) Gautreau, Lise (Armand Leger) Gautreau and Claire (Paul) Melanson, one son, Roland Gautreau, four grandchildren, Maxime, Alexie, Nicholas and Maëlle, three brothers, Leandre (Cecile) Gautreau, Ronald (Antoinette) Gautreau and Eric (late Celestina) Gautreau and several nieces and nephews. Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Maria, two sisters, Rita and Florine and four brothers, Clement, Armand, Ulysse and Gerard. There will be no visitation or funeral. Interment will be held in the Notre Dame de l’Annonciation parish cemetery, Pré-d’en-Haut. A special thank you to Dr Jean-Marie Auffrey and the staff of Foyer St-Thomas.
