Georges Roy LeBlanc

Georges Roy LeBlanc of Veteran’s Health Center, Moncton passed away at his residence on Sunday October 15, 2023 at the age of 100. Born in Memramcook East on January 6, 1923, he was the son of the late Edouard and Marie-Blanche (Dupuis) LeBlanc. He served in the 2nd World War overseas. He worked at # 5 Depot Moncton until his retirement and was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Memramcook East. He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Rachel (Leonard) Cormier, five sons, Warren LeBlanc, Francis (Rita) LeBlanc, Leonard (Diane) LeBlanc, Normand LeBlanc and Jean-Guy LeBlanc, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Stella, one son Marcel, one granddaughter, Chantal and six brothers Philias, Yvet, Philippe, Camille, Gillis and Alban. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Friday October 20 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at the Saint Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church, St-Joseph on Saturday October 21 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
