Gerald MacAusland

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald MacAusland of Memramcook on November 10, 2022 at the age of 81. Born in Ellerslie, PEI, he was the son of the late Willard and Mae (Ford) MacAusland. Gerry was an entrepreneur who co-founded Barley Sprinkler Sales Ltd and Imagination Décor Services where he both really enjoyed working with his employees. In his retirement, Gerry kept active walking with his walking friends of Renaissance Rd. He will be sadly missed by his wife Julia, his two children, Lisa (Josh) Jenkins of Moncton and Trevor (Chantal) MacAusland of Moncton, four grandchildren who were the joy of his life, Chloe Jenkins, Emma MacAusland, Jax Jenkins and Sofia MacAusland, one sister, Joan Mugridge and by several nieces and nephews. He loved his family and grandchildren very much and would have done anything and everything for them. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Allyson and Milton and his sisters, Margaret Laporte, Joyce McCaull, Eloise Siliker and June Wallace. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Thursday November 17 from 2 to 4 pm only. There will be no service. Interment will be held at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens cemetery. Donations can be made to the IWK Hospital and the Lung Cancer Association would be apreciated. A special thank you to the doctors and staff at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont for going above and beyond.
