Irene Bourgeois of Memramcook passed away on Saturday April 25, 2020 at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont at the age of 79. Born on April 26, 1940 in Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Edna (Boudreau) Cormier. She worked as a seamstress for 30 years and was a member of the Memramcook Golden Age Club. She will be sadly missed by four sons, Michel (Ginette) Bourgeois of Dieppe, Charles Bourgeois of Montreal, Gilles (Anise) Bourgeois of Memramcook and Claude Bourgeois of Gatineau, QC, six grandchildren, Julie, Samuel, André, Luc, Elise and Sylvie, four great grandchildren, Brady, Théo, Magalie and Jaxon, three sisters, Annette (Charles) LeBlanc of Memramcook, Bernadette Cormier and Yvonne Cormier of Montreal, four brothers, Yvon (late Germaine) Cormier of Memramcook, Roger (Ghislaine) Cormier and Alonzo (Donna) Cormier of Dieppe and Arthur (Bernice) Cormier of Memramcook and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Paul (2016), three sisters, Rita, Claudette and Anna and two brothers, Gerard and Robert. In light of the current coronavirus pandemic and at the request of the family, there will be private funeral. Interment will be held in the St-Thomas de Memramcook parish cemetery, St-Joseph.
