Irene Gautreau

Irene Gautreau of Foyer St-Thomas (formerly of Pré-d’en-Haut) passed away on Sunday March 17, 2019 at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont at the age of 89. Born on April 2, 1929 in Grande-Digue, she was the daughter of the late Henrie Fougere and Evangeline (Mazerolle) Fougere. She will be sadly missed by five daughters, Claudette (Arthur) of Shediac, Francine (Randy), Diane (Danny), Linda (Normand) all of Memramcook, and Ginette of Dieppe, one son, Maurice of Memramcook, seven grandchildren, Josée, Michel, Christine, Sheila, Christine, Sean and Joline, three great grandchildren, Mathieu, Daniel and Jaxon, one sister, Marie (late Alfred) Robichaud of Moncton, one brother Zoel (late Eveline) (Hectorine) Fougere of Shediac and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Alban (1990), one infant sister Germaine, three brothers, Raymond, Cyrile and Laurie, and two half-brothers, Albert and Josephat. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Wednesday March 20 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at Notre-Dame-de-l’Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d’en-Haut on Thursday March 21 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook.
