Jason Leger

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the accidental death of Jason Leger 21, of Moncton on Friday Feb 25th 2022. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Steven Sears and Josette Leger. Jason had been talking for the past year to join the army and recently trying to make a decision to either take a course of heavy equipment like his brother Justin. He had a heart of gold and was always ready to help. He never judged and was friends with everyone. Loved his family & friends and was so very kind.  Jason and his siblings were very close, loved and supported each other. He was also very close and loved by his step dad Maurice Gautreau. He loved his girlfriend Haley Davies of 2 years and spent most of his time with her treated her like gold.

Jason will be sadly missed by many! His parents Steven & Josette of Moncton, sister Christine LeBlanc (Chris) of Memramcook , brother Justin Leger (Josee) of Memramcook, grandmother Jeannette Leger of Shediac, many uncles and aunts, nieces & nephew, cousins. He was predeceased  by his maternal grand-father Leopold and his paternal grand-mother Cecilia.

There will be no visitation or funeral. Interment will be held in St-Thomas de Memramcook parish cemetery. If anyone wants to donate, you can make a donation toward Haley’s Education (Child & Youth Care with Addictions Support Worker) by via e transfer to Jason sister to cnc0507@hotmail.com
