Julia MacAusland

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Julia MacAusland of Memramcook on Thursday August 17, 2023 at the age of 77. Born in Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Adrien and Anita (LeBlanc) Saulnier. Julia was a teacher in schools in New Brunswick for 35 years. She was also principal of two schools during her career. She was also an entrepreneur and an artist. She co-founded Imagination Service Décor Services Ltd. She loved to draw and was a very talented decorator. During the past few months, she loved spending time with close friends including Roberta Gautreau, Micheline LeBlanc, Debbie LeBlanc, Aline LeBlanc, Dorine Boudreau and Pat Walsh. She will be sadly missed by her two children, Lisa (Josh) Jenkins of Moncton and Trevor (Chantal) MacAusland of Moncton, four grandchildren who were the joy of her life, Chloe Jenkins, Emma MacAusland, Jax Jenkins and Sofia MacAusland, one sister, Adrienne (Barry) LeBlanc Fiedler and by several nieces and nephews. She loved her children and grandchildren very much and would have done anything and everything for them. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 54 years of marriage, Gerald MacAusland and one niece, Cindy LeBlanc. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Thursday August 24 from 1:30 to 4 pm followed by a service at the funeral home at 4 pm. Interment will be held at the Fair Haven Memorial Gardens cemetery. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Kidney Foundation of Canada. A special thank you to the doctors and staff of the Coronary Intensive Care Unit of the CHU Dr. Georges l. Dumont for going above and beyond
