Obituary

Léona Gautreau of Domaine de la Vallée, Memramcook (formerly of Gautreau Village) passed away at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont on June 2, 2022 at the age of 99. Born in Gautreau Village on July 20, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Annie (LeBlanc) Gautreau. She will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her six sisters, Amanda, Lucie, Marie, Violette, Jeanne and Edmée and four brothers Abram, Fidèle, Edmond and Willie. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Tuesday June 7 from 3 to 4 pm followed by a service at the funeral home at 4 pm. Interment will be held in the Notre Dame de l’Annonciation parish cemetery, Pré-d’en-Haut. Arrangements are in care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook.
