Louis Bourgeois

Louis Bourgeois of Dieppe passed away on Monday April 6, 2020 at his residence at the age of 74. Born on May 2, 1945 in College Bridge, he was the son of the late Emile and Marie (LeBlanc) Bourgeois. He worked for 36 years at Kerr’s Candy in Toronto until his retirement. He will be sadly missed by his loving common-law  partner, Therese Poirier, his daughter, Tammy (Peter) Saunders of Musquodoboit Harbor, NS, his son, David Bourgeois (Maxine) of Dartmouth, NS, two step daughters, Sandra (Conrad) Leger of Dieppe and Brenda (Robert) Throop of Sackville, nine grandchildren, April, Johnathan, Anthony, William, Joseph, Emily, Raymond, Julie and Brandon, three great grandchildren, three brothers, Jean-Rene (late Dorothy) of Queensport, NS, Leonard Bourgeois of Moncton and Ronald (Helene) Bourgeois of Dieppe and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, one sister Jeannette and his loving wife Vickie. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Friday July 31 from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral will be held at the St-Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church on Saturday August 1 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the St-Thomas de Memramcook parish cemetery.
