Rita LeBlanc

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful amazing mom Rita of St-Joseph (formerly of Memramcook East) on Thursday April 27, 2023 at the age of 84. Born in Memramcook East on December 11, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Alice (Richard) Bourgeois. She loved spending time with her family and friends especially Pauline. Her kids and grandkids were her pride and joy. She loved playing bingo with her pal Pauline. She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Patricia (Denis) Boudreau and Lise (Yvon) Cormier, three sons, Edgar (Odette) LeBlanc, Alfred (Linda) LeBlanc and Ricky (Maryanna) LeBlanc, five grandchildren, Julie, Luc, Kevin, Karen and Anabelle, four great grandchildren, Brandon, Jayda, Olivier and Lexie, three sisters, Emilie (late Eddie) Butler, Emerise (late Jacques) Boudreau and Rosanna (Norbert) Bourgeois, one brother, Clovis Bourgeois and several nieces and nephews. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Henri (1973), one daughter, Rogette (1964), a special friend Leo (2021), three sisters, Zina, Alma and Alva and four brothers, Antoine (late Clara), Ulysse (late Eva), Frankie (Angela) and Albert (Carm). Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Tuesday May 2 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East on Wednesday May 3 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. A special thank you to Lise and Yvon for their continuing care for our mother.
