Obituary
Romeo Gautreau of Dieppe passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Wednesday June 7, 2023 at the age of 72. Born in Fox Creek on October 18, 1950, he was the son of the late Alyre and Elodie (Gagnon) Gautreau. He worked as a welder /pipefitter until his retirement. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Roberta, two sons, Gilles Gautreau and Jean-Guy (Isabelle) Richard, three grandchildren, Joline, Jacinthe and Oliver, five great grandchildren, two sisters, Aline Fougere and Marie (Roland) Bourgeois, five brothers, Paul (late Pauline) Gautreau, Marcel (Lana) Gautreau, Norman (Linda) Gautreau, Herve Gautreau (Jackie) and Roger (Simonne) Gautreau, his two working brothers, Gene Mazerolle and Bob Graham and several nieces and nephews. Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his son Michel, grandson, Simon, one great granddaughter, Mila and one sister Edith. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Monday June 12, 2023 from 1 to 4 pm followed by a service at the funeral home at 4pm. Interment will be held in the St-Thomas de Memramcook parish cemetery.
