Ronald "Ron" Gould

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ron Gould of Notre-Dame that occurred on March 26, 2022 at the CHU Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital at the age of 73. Born in Memramcook-East on March 29, 1948, he was the son of the late Ephrem and Bella (LeBlanc) Gould. Ron was a true supporter of Paysan Lounge in St-Antoine as well as Club du Village in Cocagne. As you can see in his picture, every hour was happy hour. Making friends and socializing was always easy for Ron since he liked everyone and everybody liked him in return. He loved music, dancing and was always the life of the party. Also, he had a signature howl that everyone recognized, and when people heard it, they knew Ron was in the building. He was a “common man” who enjoyed a simple life. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Rhonda Gould, one grandson Tyler Gould (Tamarah), two great grandchildren Bentley and Bowen, his brothers and sisters Leo-Paul (Yolande), Jeanne (Lionel), Gerald, Helene, Denis, Norbert “Bert” (Marilyn) and Marcel (Charline), his special friend Marie, several nieces and nephews as well as many friends. Beside his parents, he was predeceased by one sister Evangeline, and two brothers William and Aurele “Lucas’’. Visitation will be held at the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Slumber Room, Notre-Dame-de-Kent on Monday March 28 from 7 to 9 pm and at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Tuesday march 29 from 9 to 11 am. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11:00 am. As Ron would like, please dress in casual clothing. Interment will be held in the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes parish cemetery, Memramcook. The family would like to thank Ron’s special friends who kept in touch with him during his illness, your care and affection will never be forgotten.  Arrangements are in care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook.
